Welder (Temp-to-Perm) Clearwater, Florida NSC Staffing is seeking experienced Structural Welders for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Clearwater, Florida. Location:

Clearwater, FL Primary Responsibilities
* Perform MIG welding on structural steel components, beams, columns, plates, and welded assemblies.
* Read and interpret welding blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
* Fit, align, tack, and weld steel components according to specifications and quality standards.
* Prepare welding surfaces and materials before beginning welds.
* Inspect completed welds for quality, penetration, consistency, and structural integrity.
* Perform grinding and weld finishing as required.
* Follow established welding procedures and specifications.
* Maintain welding equipment and report any equipment issues.
* Follow all required welding safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
* Complete assigned welding work according to production schedules and quality requirements. Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of structural steel or heavy fabrication welding experience.
* Proficiency in MIG welding.
* Flux-Core and Stick welding experience is a plus.
* Ability to read and understand welding blueprints and welding symbols.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment welding test.
* Strong understanding of proper welding techniques and procedures.
* Ability to inspect welds and identify potential defects.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced welding environment.
* Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
