As a Printing Press Operator, your mission is to produce high-volume, high-quality printed materials, such as postcards and brochures. You’ll be responsible for operating a 5-color Komori press, maintaining the press, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Additionally, you'll train an assistant to help load paper and manage the press efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain the 5-color Komori press for high-quality printing
- Grease and clean the press regularly to maintain optimal performance
- Train and manage a Press Assistant to load paper and assist with press operations
- Ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area
- Operate a pallet jack and forklift (training provided)
- Maintain strong communication with team members and supervisors
- Adhere to high standards of quality and efficiency
- Temporary | M-F 5:00am-12:00pm
- Based on experience
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Prior experience with printing machines is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to operate or learn to operate a 5-color printing press
- Familiarity with print advertising and machining knowledge is desirable
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
