We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations within a high-volume food and beverage manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for building equipment reliability, strengthening preventive maintenance programs, developing the maintenance team, and ensuring production equipment operates safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate combines strong maintenance leadership with hands-on technical knowledge of PLCs, automation, controls, electrical and mechanical systems, liquid processing/filling equipment, and CMMS-driven maintenance programs

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the plant maintenance team, including scheduling, training, performance management, and technical development.
Own the facility's preventive and predictive maintenance program
, ensuring equipment PMs are completed on time and continuously evaluated for effectiveness.
Manage the CMMS
, including work-order creation, prioritization, completion, documentation, and cross-functional communication.
Drive equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime through root cause/breakdown analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor maintenance KPIs and develop short- and long-term improvement plans focused on reliability, cost, productivity, and plant performance.
Manage the MRO/spare-parts program
, including inventory accuracy, min/max levels, labeling, organization, cycle counts, and parts availability.
Troubleshoot and support PLCs, automation, controls, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment as needed, responding with urgency to equipment failures affecting production or safety.
Partner closely with Production, Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, and other plant functions to prioritize maintenance needs and improve equipment performance.
Support the installation, startup, and commissioning of new production equipment.
Train and partner with equipment operators on work instructions, basic equipment care, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices.
Utilize continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies to eliminate equipment losses, recurring failures, and production defects.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with plant safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

5+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
3-5+ years of maintenance leadership or management experience.
Food, beverage, bottling, liquid processing, or similar high-speed manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, CMMS/work-order systems, and MRO/spare-parts management

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience involving pumps, valves, gears, bearings, lubrication systems, motors, and electromechanical equipment
.
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
.
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, automation, and industrial controls
.
Experience with Allen-Bradley controls, Rockwell Control Logix 5000, Factory Talk View/SCADA, and liquid filling systems preferred.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, technical documentation, and work orders.
Associate degree, technical degree, or formal training in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related discipline preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated commitment to OSHA and plant safety standards
