DTC Email & SMS Marketing Associate

We're looking for an experienced DTC Email & SMS Marketing Associate to own our entire retention marketing program from strategy through execution.

This isn't a simple newsletter role. You'll be responsible for building and optimizing every part of our email and SMS lifecycle marketing—from customer acquisition to retention, winback, and long-term LTV growth.

You'll work closely with our creative, growth, and ecommerce teams to develop high-converting campaigns, automated flows, and SMS strategies that drive revenue every day.

• Own the entire email and SMS marketing channels
• Build, launch, and optimize Klaviyo email and SMS flows from scratch
• Create and manage daily/weekly promotional email and SMS campaigns
• Develop lifecycle marketing strategies for customer acquisition and retention
• Build and optimize:
  • Welcome Series
  • Browse Abandonment
  • Cart Abandonment
  • Checkout Abandonment
  • Post-Purchase
  • Cross-Sell & Upsell
  • Review Requests
  • Winback
  • Sunset/Re-engagement
  • VIP & Loyalty Flows
• Create customer segmentation strategies
• Improve deliverability, inbox placement, and SMS performance
• Perform ongoing A/B testing across subject lines, offers, copy, design, timing, segmentation, and SMS messaging
• Analyze campaign performance and continuously improve revenue, CTR, CVR, LTV, and subscriber engagement
• Coordinate product launches, seasonal promotions, and major sales events
• Work with designers and copywriters to produce high-converting email and SMS creatives
• Manage the email and SMS marketing calendars
• Own email and SMS revenue and lifecycle marketing KPIs

• 3+ years of experience managing email and SMS marketing for DTC ecommerce brands
• Expert knowledge of Klaviyo
• Strong experience with Shopify
• Proven track record growing email and SMS revenue
• Deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing
• Experience building advanced email and SMS automations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Experience with segmentation and personalization
• Excellent copywriting instincts for conversion-focused marketing
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

• Experience with subscription businesses
• Familiarity with CRO and ecommerce analytics
• Experience using Northbeam, GA4, or similar attribution platforms
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email
• Experience with AI tools to improve workflow and productivity
