About the Opportunity
This is a paid, part-time position offering $20 per hour for up to 16 hours per month

Events & Ministry Coordinators create an exceptional Apartment Life experience for residents and onsite staff within an apartment community. Coordinators combine their passion for Apartment Life's vision and mission with practical skills by planning consistently excellent and engaging events, communicating with care and clarity, and offering genuine hospitality and support.
Through these efforts, Coordinators help foster meaningful connections and positively impact the lives of residents.
We are seeking mission-minded, highly relational, and responsible individuals who enjoy meeting new people, planning social activities, and helping others experience God's unconditional love.
This role provides a unique opportunity to practice business as ministry by faithfully combining professional excellence with loving your neighbors well.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Plan and host 2 high-quality monthly events that help residents connect with one another, onsite staff, and local services or businessesProvide a consistent, caring presence for residents and property staff, with support from residents, volunteers, and community partnersEnhance the community's online reputation by inviting residents to share their experiencesCreate marketing materials for activities, including monthly calendars, event flyers, and social media postsManage the event budget and related processesPrepare and submit monthly summaries and reportsMeet regularly with onsite staff and the Program Director for planning, training, and developmentRecruit, engage, and coordinate volunteers, vendors, and community partners to maximize impactRequired Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or olderLegally eligible to work in the United StatesBasic fluency in English, including the ability to create marketing materials and complete required reportsPossess a valid driver's license, current liability insurance, and reliable transportation for duties such as shopping for events and meeting vendorsPhysically able to use stairs, bend, sit, stand, stoop, and lift up to 25 poundsAvailable to commit weekly hours, primarily during evenings and weekends when residents are most often homeAble to commit to the minimum term of service at the assigned apartment communityPreferred Qualifications
Previous experience planning or coordinating high-quality eventsBilingual in English and SpanishExperience working within a budgetFamiliarity with social media platforms and basic marketing practicesAn existing network of potential volunteers, vendors, or community partnersLearn More About Apartment Life
