Bay Care Health Systems Staffing Resource Office is currently seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team.

• System Pool – 13‑week full‑time assignment for designated unit; block scheduling is not available.
• Assignments are available in Regions 1 & 3.
• Region 1 includes St. Anthony’s, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay hospitals.
• Region 3 includes South Florida Baptist, Bartow Medical Center and Winter Haven Hospitals.

• The registered nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter‑disciplinary care providers in the development and assistance of a plan of care.
• Organizes, prioritizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family and significant others.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

• Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
• Associate degree in nursing (ASN).
• 18 months RN experience in an acute ICU setting required.
• 2 years RN experience in an acute ICU setting strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.
• Travel nurse experience preferred.
