Hire Up is partnering with Agile In-Home Care to find a Registered Nurse (RN) who wants to be a part of the mission allowing clients and their families to safely care for themselves at home as long as possible.
The perfect candidate should possess experience in home care and have a background in supervising Home Health Aides, emphasizing training and coaching. The role offers a flexible schedule, typically manageable from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with evening and weekend appointments largely subject to the RN's discretion.
An RN triages questions and concerns raised by employees, clients, and the responsible parties of clients regarding the client's service plan. The RN is crucial in providing the necessary care for our clients and support for our HHA/CNAs/Companions. As a non-skilled agency, the RN conducts periodic in-home visits to advise our clients, their families, and our care team. The RN operates in accordance with the standards of the State of Florida, Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), and creates client service plans, typically at the onset of care, by conducting client assessments, as well as periodic observation, supervisory, and support visits for our field staff to ensure the quality of care and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise care provided by HHA/CNA/Companions.
- Ensure Agency provides services in compliance with company policies and procedures, AHCA guidelines, and any other applicable laws and regulations.
- Assess client needs, create service plans, and assist with coordination of care.
- Demonstrate professionalism in communication, both internally and externally.
- Well organized and maintains a high standard for HHA/CNA/Companions as they perform duties outlined in the service plan.
- Document care needs, communications, mentoring of employees, etc.
- Mentor and support employees, clients, and clients' families and responsible parties.
- Create and support a culture that elevates the quality of services provided.
- Review scheduling to ensure the assignment of employees is appropriate for the needs of clients.
- Assist in the selection and hiring process for HHA/CNA/Companions, as needed.
- Participate in continuing education.
- Must have RN license in good standing in the State of Florida
- Current CPR certification
- Own reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to make visits to clients' homes, as needed
- Ability and willingness to receive and triage calls, as needed, including after business hours
