Bay Care's staffing resource office is currently in search of experienced ICU nurses who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.

• Status:
  Part-Time-non-exempt
• Shift: 645AM - 7:15PM
• Every 3rd Friday & Saturday, in addition 2 Sundays in 6-week schedule
• On Call:
  No
• Always in person

The Registered Nurse – ICU responsibilities and skills:

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Care for patients throughout their recovery in critical care.
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
• Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
• High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient.
• Professional accountability and development

Requirements:

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 2-year experience of ICU in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
