Registered Nurses in the Hemodialysis department deliver outstanding, compassionate care to patients.

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 18-month experience in Dialysis in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of Dialysis patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Coordinate and document appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
• Demonstrate high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience, simplifying medical terminology for the patient
• Maintain professional accountability and pursue development opportunities
