Bay Care's staffing resource office is currently in search of experienced ER nurses who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.

• Location: Region 3 includes Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven Hospitals.
• Status: Full Time‑Non‑Exempt
• Shift: 10:45 AM – 11:15 PM
• Every 3rd Saturday and Sunday, in addition two Fridays in 6‑week schedule. Holiday bundle requirement.
• On Call: No
• Always in person
• Float Pay differential

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Care for patients throughout their recovery in critical care.
• Monitor, record, and update the care team on patient vitals and assessments.
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
• Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients.
• Coordinate and document appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
• Demonstrate high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts for the patient.
• Maintain professional accountability and pursue continued development.

• RN (Registered Nurse) License.
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor’s or higher in Nursing.
• 2‑year experience in an ER in a hospital setting.
• Strong preference for 4‑year ER RN experience.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or the American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
• PALS certification (American Heart Association).
