Registered Nurse (RN) – Clearwater, FL

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Renal/Gastrointestinal Department Pool team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting staffing needs across the department in a collaborative acute care environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to renal and gastrointestinal patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize patient care
  • Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the healthcare team
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Promote patient safety and evidence-based care practices
  • Demonstrate professional accountability and commitment to continuous learning and development
  • Support departmental staffing needs and provide care where needed within the unit
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by the department
  • Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum of 18 months of acute care or specialty nursing experience required
  • Nursing specialty certification preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
