Registered Nurse NICU - System Pool SRO

Bay Care Health Systems is currently seeking experienced NICU Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team.

• System Pool and Seasonal Pool – 13‑week full‑time NICU assignments – unit provided schedule – block scheduling is not available.

• The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Collaborates and communicates with inter‑disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
• Organizes, prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS (AHA)
• Associate degree in nursing (ASN). BSN is preferred.
• 2 years RN current hospital experience in NICU.
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.
• Flexibility.
• Travel Nurse experience preferred.
