Bay Care is looking for Patient Care Techs/Certified Nursing Assistants/CNAs to join our team!

Patient Care Tech/Certified Nursing Assistant positions are available with Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater

• Location: Morton Plant Hospital - 300 Pinellas St., Clearwater, FL 33756
• Full-time hours: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
• Part-time hours: 2 twelve-hour shifts per week and every other weekend
• Shifts: Day shifts 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM and Night shifts 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
• Assists the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care as directed by the RN.

• High School Diploma or GED minimum
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (from American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• A minimum of one year of licensed CNA work experience in a skilled nursing facility; or a minimum of 6 months of PCT/CNA work experience in a hospital; or in lieu of experience may have completed approved CNA school (with clinicals); or nursing student with completion of Nursing Fundamentals
• Extended new hire training and new hire department orientation is available for new Florida licensed CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant with no experience yet.
• Ability to work full-time hours is a plus
