As an Inspector - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace products and components. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability in our manufacturing and maintenance processes.
You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall product quality and safety by conducting thorough inspections, identifying non-conformances, and supporting corrective actions to meet regulatory and company standards.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Identify and document non-conformances and collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality assurance process.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Extensive experience in aerospace inspection with a strong understanding of quality control processes and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and non-destructive testing methods.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation accurately.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace inspection or quality assurance roles.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with digital inspection and reporting tools is a plus.
