Quality Engineer II (Finance)

As a Quality Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will play an essential role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products by supporting quality assurance activities and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Clearwater, Florida location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact product quality and customer satisfaction by implementing quality standards, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and optimize processes.

Responsibilities
  • Support quality assurance processes by conducting product and process audits to ensure compliance with Honeywell standards.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and recommend corrective actions to improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
  • Experience with quality auditing and compliance to industry standards
We Value
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies and certifications
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis software
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement projects
  • Knowledge of supplier quality management and auditing

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements.
