As an Inspector - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of aerospace components and assemblies. You will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements to maintain the highest levels of safety and reliability.
You will report directly to our Quality Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the safety and performance of aerospace products by ensuring that all inspected components meet stringent quality standards, thereby supporting Honeywell's commitment to excellence in the aerospace industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform detailed inspections of aerospace parts and assemblies using various measuring instruments and techniques to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately and communicate findings to relevant teams for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in inspection roles within aerospace manufacturing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
- Familiarity with aerospace regulatory requirements and documentation practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Experience working in aerospace manufacturing or quality assurance environments.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100 and FAA regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
