Position: Retail Sales Specialist (Bilingual Spanish)

Overview

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. Earn $18.00/hour base pay, with the potential to earn $22.50/hour through commission and incentives. The Retail Sales Specialist is the face of Spectrum, promoting and selling our portfolio of products and services to both existing and new customers, enhancing the customer experience and fostering exceptional customer care at every store location.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
  • Identify sales opportunities and create ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
  • Build positive customer relationships, listen effectively, overcome objections, and demonstrate the value of our products.
  • Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions and visual standards, while minimizing product losses.
  • Ensure a welcoming store atmosphere, deliver a clean retail experience, communicate effectively, adhere to policy, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.
Working Conditions
  • Flexible schedule with regular attendance requirements.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 35 lbs and prolonged standing in a moderately noisy retail environment.
  • Adherence to Spectrum's dress code.
Required Qualifications Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
  • High comfort level with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms; proficiency in computer applications.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; ability to prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
  • Familiarity with goal- and incentive-based work environments.
  • Strong performance in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone and in writing.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
  • Self-motivated, competitive spirit with a desire to exceed sales goals.
  • Positive and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual:
    Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the latest technology and devices.
  • 1-5 years of sales/customer service experience.
  • 1-3 years of telecommunications/wireless experience.
