Position ObjectiveThe Sales Lead supports Management in promoting a customer and product-focused sales culture, prioritizing values and guiding principles across all store operations to deliver great customer experience and maximize profitability.
Functional Responsibilities Drive for Results- Establish and communicate clear expectations, holding team members accountable for brand, performance, and behavior standards.
- Oversee basic operations such as opening, closing, and merchandise flow processes.
- Supervise associates in sales, inventory receipt, cash reconciliation, and customer service activities.
- Utilize weekly schedules to maintain proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, presenting and displaying merchandise accordingly.
- Upkeep standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by Management.
- Develop a high‑performance culture, motivating the sales team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
- Train and coach the team to be fluent in all aspects of product knowledge, both online and in-store.
- Assist with fulfillment and selling processes.
- Motivate and inspire the store team, promoting a shared vision while modeling core values.
- Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Communicate with store teams and management to lead positive change.
- Seek personal development opportunities and solicit feedback to build leadership skills.
- Model, teach, and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles for a cohesive omni‑channel experience.
- Use various techniques to communicate product knowledge, recommend selections, and locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs.
- Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobe consulting.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure a fast and efficient register experience, staying current on payment policies, promotions, returns, exchanges, and security practices.
- Maintain consistent client communication via customer book, rewards program participation, and signup.
- Support, implement, and follow up on all training programs and seminars.
- Assist in the development of store associates, interpreting KPI reports and providing coaching.
- Recognize and reward employees for outstanding performance.
- Ensure the team adheres to all employment practices and policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
- Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Regular attendance essential to ensure adequate coverage.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Constant walking/standing – 67–100% of an 8‑hour shift.
- Occasional lifting up to 50lbs. – 1–33% of an 8‑hour shift.
- Frequent climbing – 34–66% of an 8‑hour shift.
