Shift Availability & Compensation

Shift Availability: 8-25 hours - availability on weekends strongly preferred.
Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00/hr.
Location: 2082 Gulf to Bay Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33765.

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Associate
, you’ll be the face of our brand and the go-to expert for our customers, helping them explore our cannabis products and delivering top‑tier service with every interaction.

What You’ll Do Customer Experience & Teamwork
  • Greet and assist all guests in a warm, professional manner.
  • Build strong, genuine connections with customers, ask thoughtful questions, and offer personalized product advice.
  • Address concerns with professionalism and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Encourage loyalty by signing guests up for rewards programs.
  • Work closely with your team to ensure a respectful, inclusive, and upbeat atmosphere.
Operations & Store Standards
  • Help open and close the store, handle cash, and follow all procedures and regulations.
  • Check IDs, update customer profiles, and process transactions accurately.
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Support inventory tasks like restocking, fulfilling online orders, and counting products.
  • Consistently meet and beat daily sales goals by upselling, building trust, and using product knowledge.
  • Highlight deals and complementary items at checkout to boost customer satisfaction.
  • Stay on top of promotions and product updates.
  • Remain agile and adaptive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing retail environment.
  • Take on extra duties as needed to support the team and store success.
What You’ll Bring
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a customer‑facing or sales role, focused on service and satisfaction.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience using POS systems and handling cash accurately.
  • Ability to thrive independently and as part of a team in a compliance‑driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Strong multitasking and priority‑shifting abilities.
  • Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools.
  • Solid time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective de‑elevation techniques and a calm, solution‑oriented approach.
  • Basic proficiency in math and computer applications.
  • Positive, proactive mindset for resolving customer issues.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and composure under pressure.
  • Initiative and team‑first attitude, ready to support leadership.
  • Natural ability to build rapport and maintain lasting customer relationships.
  • Collaborative spirit and commitment to working well within a team.
Even Better If You Have
  • Background in a sales role with KPI tracking and meeting sales targets.
  • Familiarity with e‑commerce systems and order fulfillment processes.
  • Previous experience in a regulated retail setting.
Physical Requirements

Stand for extended periods, walk, talk or hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands and fingers to feel, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds). Requires clear vision at 20 inches or less. Exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens; work in confined spaces; high stress tolerance; adaptability; flexibility for an ever‑changing environment.
