Position: Sales Development Representative Intern (Hybrid)

Clearwater, Florida (Greater Tampa Bay area). This position is a hybrid role requiring 4 days a week in the Clearwater, FL office (Monday-Thursday). This is a paid internship for the 12‑week program (August 24, 2026 - November 13, 2026).

Position Summary

As a Sales Development Representative Intern at KnowBe4, you’ll learn to prospect and qualify new accounts for our security awareness training and simulated phishing platform, gaining exposure to real sales conversations, prospecting techniques, and CRM management alongside current SDRs and Account Executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Map company structure and verify information to identify potential accounts.
  • Identify appropriate contacts within those accounts.
  • Learn key prospecting conversation elements for qualification calls.
  • Role‑play to master mirroring, labeling, and objection handling.
  • Conduct calls and emails to drive demo bookings.
  • Schedule and hand‑off demo‑ready leads to quota‑carrying Sales Representatives.
  • Organize, clean, prospect, and maintain our CRM database.
  • Shadow SDRs with prospective customers to build conversation skills.
  • Listen to demo calls from varying levels of Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional sales teams to better understand our business model.

  • On‑the‑job instruction on sales development steps and administrative discipline.

Education
  • Junior or senior candidate in Hospitality, Communications, Customer Service, Marketing, or Business Management/Administration.
