Security Guard; Overnights

The Security Guard position provides overnight security services at Bay Care Ballpark with year-round coverage. They also monitor security at Carpenter Complex. Candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as the ballpark’s schedule requires. Incumbent must be trustworthy and dependable to handle sensitive situations with care and diligence.

This position will be located on-site in Clearwater, FL.

The Security Guard ensures the safety and security of Bay Care Ballpark and Carpenter Complex. Responsibilities include regular patrols, emergency response, communication with police and fire departments, and ensuring adherence to security protocols.

• Perform scheduled and random checks of designated areas throughout the facility to identify security breaches.
• Assist maintenance staff in securing areas during maintenance emergencies.
• Collaborate with other members of the corporate security team to ensure facility security.
• Communicate via two-way radio.
• Coordinate with local police and fire departments, and read fire alarm panels to direct emergency responders.
• Patrol premises, navigate stairs, and operate a golf cart.
• Maintain high mental alertness and attention to detail under all circumstances.
• Follow established security protocols while exercising initiative and good judgment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Physically able to navigate a large facility, stand for prolonged periods, walk, and use stairs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (sun, rain, wind, hot/cold temperatures).
• Police, military, or security experience preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Dependable, trustworthy, with strong oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
