Position

Summary

The Construction Electrical Superintendent oversees and coordinates all on‑site electrical construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, exceptional communication skills, and proven experience managing field crews and subcontractors on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate daily electrical construction activities on‑site.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal codes, as well as company safety standards and project specifications.
  • Lead and manage field electricians, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to verify electrical scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager, General Superintendent, and other trade superintendents to coordinate project sequencing and resolve field conflicts.
  • Monitor project progress, track materials, and manage labor resources efficiently.
  • Conduct regular site safety meetings, inspections, and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Identify and address potential issues, delays, or change orders proactively.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams regarding project status and field conditions.
Qualifications
  • MUST be over the of 18
  • MUST have a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • MUST have Valid Driver's License and Personal Transportation
  • MUST have a valid JMAN certification in the state of Florida
  • MUST be a US or possess a valid work permit
  • MUST have a FELONY FREE record
  • MUST be DRUG FREE before and during employment
  • MUST have a NEAT APPEARANCE.

    Skills:

    • Strong understanding of NEC, electrical codes, and safety regulations.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications.
    • Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Plan Grid, Bluebeam, or similar).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
    • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic construction environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments (construction sites).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand or walk for extended periods.
