Job Summary:
The Attraction & Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe, efficient operation and upkeep of all attractions, arcade equipment, and facility systems. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime, strict adherence to manufacturer guidelines, and a safe, well-maintained environment for guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Perform scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance on go-karts, bumper boats, batting cages, miniature golf, arcade games, and facility systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues, repair or replace defective components, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide timely unscheduled repairs to minimize downtime and operational disruption.
- Assist with annual inspections, NDT testing, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all maintenance is performed strictly in accordance with manufacturer procedures and company standards - no deviations.
- Perform general building maintenance including light carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct small engine repair and maintenance.
- Change filters and assist with basic HVAC-related upkeep as required.
- Operate forklifts, personal lifts, and welding equipment as needed (if certified).
- Accurately complete work orders, inspection forms, and preventative maintenance checklists.
- Maintain detailed repair logs and ensure documentation is submitted to the Regional Technical Services Manager (RTSM).
- Assist with maintaining required inspection records, including annual inspections and NDT documentation.
- Identify unsafe conditions or faulty equipment and report concerns immediately.
- Maintain full compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-organized workspace at all times, ensuring tools, parts, and equipment are properly stored and accounted for.
- Create and maintain a positive safety culture, ensuring the safety of employees and guests at all times.
- Coordinate repairs and priorities with leadership.
- Order parts, supplies, and materials as needed.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance equipment reliability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 10-hour shifts).
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, squat, and work in physically demanding environments.
- Comfortable working in loud environments and varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience.
- Experience with small engines and general mechanical repair required (training provided for additional systems).
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical skills preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and a safety-first mindset.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required licenses or certifications.
- Must maintain professional appearance standards.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
