BG Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a well-established multifamily community in Clearwater, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong experience in make-ready and punch work who takes pride in quality unit turns and maintaining high community standards.

Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing apartment homes for new residents and ensuring all maintenance work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and experienced in common apartment maintenance tasks-particularly unit turns and window screen repair/rescreening.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform make-ready and punch work to prepare vacant units for new move-ins
• Complete unit turns including basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring repairs, and appliance checks
• Repair, replace, and rescreen window screens as needed
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the community
• Identify maintenance issues and report larger repair needs promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Apartment Maintenance Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of make-ready and punch tech work
• Hands-on experience with window screens and rescreening
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Professional attitude with a strong work ethic
