Snapshot / Role Overview:
We're seeking a Journeyman Electrician in Clearwater, FL to install electrical systems for commercial construction projects.
- Deliver safe and code-compliant electrical installations
- Support project timelines through efficient and skilled work
- Ensure quality through attention to detail and proper workmanship
- Mentor apprentices and contribute to team development
- Install electrical conduit, wire, and devices for commercial projects
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications
- Install lighting, power distribution, and control systems
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and system testing
- Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
- Coordinate with other trades on installation sequencing
- Maintain organized work areas and follow safety protocols
- Mentor and train apprentice electricians
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license
- 4+ years of commercial electrical installation experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical codes
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- OSHA 10‑hour construction safety certification
- Experience with fire alarm and security system installation
- Knowledge of building automation and controls
- Forklift and scissor lift certifications
