Position OverviewThe primary duty of the Maintenance Supervisor I is to ensure efficient and effective department operations as well as ensure the highest physical quality of the property. The Maintenance Supervisor I will coordinate work schedules and monitor daily staff performance; maintain oversight of expense controls and risk management; and manage repairs as well as preventative maintenance in vacant apartments, resident apartments and common areas.
The Maintenance Supervisor I ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations as well as all established policies.
HVAC experience, EPA Certification and Valid Driver's License required.
This is a full-time, on-call, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (benefits-eligible) position in Clearwater, Florida.
Required Experience & Competencies- Minimum high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Minimum of three years of experience in various trades including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, appliances and electrical maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of safety, fire prevention and first aid techniques.
- Measurement and mathematical calculation ability.
- Ability to work in a variety of conditions and locations including confined areas, rooftops, underground spaces, etc.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Florida Driver's License.
- HVAC experience.
- EPA certification.
- Pre-employment testing
