A leading North American manufacturer of specialized pipe rehabilitation equipment in Clearwater, FL is seeking a hands‑on Service & Repair Technician. This shop‑based role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing specialized robotic reinstatement cutters and trenchless installation equipment. Ideal for mechanics, plumbers, or HVAC technicians skilled in low‑voltage electrical diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities- Service, troubleshoot, and overhaul specialized mechanical equipment and robotic cutters.
- Diagnose low-voltage electrical issues using multimeters, amp meters, and volt meters.
- Support internal Kanban systems for inventory control and spare parts management.
- Complete product maintenance logs and perform pre-shipment quality checks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop area.
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical repair experience (Automotive, Plumbing, HVAC, or Assembly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability using amp/volt meters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read assembly drawings, diagrams, or schematics.
- Vocational training, Associate degree, or equivalent trade experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work standard day‑shift shop hours.
- Automotive & Diesel Mechanics:
Excellent at diagnostic teardowns, wiring, and 12V/24V systems. - Plumbing & Drain Technicians:
Familiar with camera systems, jetters, pumps, and pipe rehabilitation tools. - Electro-Mechanical Assemblers:
Skilled with schematics, hand tools, and component mounting.
salary: $47,840 - $54,080 per year

- Service, troubleshoot, and repair robotic reinstatement cutters and specialized CIPP installation equipment.
- Manage all phases of equipment maintenance, tear-downs, and re‑assembly.
- Perform quality checks and pre‑shipment verification on repaired units.
- Update status reports for equipment repairs and component builds.
- Maintain clean work areas and assist with internal Kanban inventory tracking for spare parts.
- Document service steps and product status throughout the repair lifecycle
