Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Installer role based in Clearwater, FL. The HVAC Installer will install, replace, and configure residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, wiring, and refrigerant lines. Day-to-day tasks include performing start-ups and system checks, completing basic diagnostic work, and assisting with troubleshooting issues in the field. The role involves conducting routine maintenance, documenting work performed, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
The installer will interact with customers at job sites, explain work performed, and support a positive service experience.
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to Customer Satisfaction, including clear communication and professional on-site conduct.
- Ability to perform effective Troubleshooting of HVAC systems, including basic electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
- EPA certification (or ability to obtain) for safe handling of refrigerants and compliance with environmental regulations.
- Understanding of HVAC system installation standards, building codes, and safety procedures.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, read schematics, and follow installation plans.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in the Clearwater and surrounding areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school HVAC training preferred.
- Capacity to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions and lift equipment as required for installations.
