Maintenance Technician

TLR Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Genesis Apartments in Tampa, FL. In this resident-focused role, you'll complete work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turns, ensuring building systems, grounds, and common areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained. You'll troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues, partner with vendors on specialized repairs, and respond quickly to emergency calls. This position offers hands-on experience in multifamily property operations, opportunities to support value-add projects, and room for growth in a collaborative, high-integrity environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, units, and common areas
• Complete work orders for repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances
• Conduct regular property inspections and address safety or maintenance issues promptly
• Prepare vacant units for move-in, including repairs, painting, and basic renovations
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects
• Maintain maintenance logs, inventory, and accurate documentation of work performed
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and resident service requests in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with safety, building, and company maintenance standards
