Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated, hands-on Traveling Lead Mold Remediation Technician to join our national field operations team. This is a full-time travel position requiring strong leadership, technical aptitude, physical endurance, and exceptional attention to detail. As a Lead Technician, you will work alongside your crew while helping lead daily field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Home Cleanse’s proprietary remediation protocols.

You will play a direct role in restoring homes and improving the health and quality of life of our clients.

Travel Requirements

This is a 100% national travel position. Team members should expect to travel year-round, often remaining on projects for several weeks—and occasionally a month or longer—before returning home. All approved travel expenses, lodging, and transportation are provided by the company. This position also routinely requires working in crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and other physically demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and work alongside remediation technicians during daily project execution.
  • Construct containment systems and implement engineering controls, including HEPA filtration devices, negative air systems, HEPA vacuums, and industrial dehumidifiers.
  • Perform precise cosmetic demolition of drywall, flooring, ceilings, trim, cabinetry, and other affected building materials while minimizing dust and cross-contamination.
  • Safely disassemble and reinstall components such as cabinetry, doors, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and lighting as required by project scope.
  • Operate safely and efficiently in confined spaces including crawl spaces and attics.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and specialized equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Carefully protect, wrap, inventory, and store clients’ personal belongings.
  • Utilize company software to document project progress, complete daily logs, and submit accurate time records.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners while maintaining empathy, respect, and exceptional customer service.
  • Train, mentor, and support technicians while helping maintain Home Cleanse’s high standards for workmanship, safety, and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Required Experience leading field crews in remediation, restoration, construction, demolition, or a related trade.
  • Working knowledge of residential construction principles.
  • Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems for safe component removal and reinstallation.
