Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Clearwater, FL. The Electrician will install, repair, and maintain electrical systems for residential construction and renovation projects, including indoor and outdoor living spaces. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting plans, wiring and installing fixtures and panels, performing safety checks, and ensuring all work meets applicable codes and standards. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting system failures, and completing preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.

The Electrician will collaborate with project managers, designers, and other tradespeople to coordinate work, maintain clean and organized job sites, and communicate clearly with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in electricity and practical electrical work skills, with the ability to apply theory to real-world installations.
• Experience in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of residential electrical systems and components.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles as they relate to safe, code-compliant construction projects.
• Current electrician license or certification in Florida, or eligibility to obtain one within a defined timeframe.
• Familiarity with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations, including use of appropriate PPE.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction documents.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct on job sites.
• Physical ability to perform hands-on work, including lifting, climbing, and working in varied environments and weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Clearwater and the Tampa Bay Area.
• Previous experience in residential construction or design-build environments is preferred.
