Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site role in Clearwater, FL for a Youth Advocate. The Youth Advocate will provide direct support and guidance to youth experiencing challenges, including conducting case management, ensuring trauma-informed care, and coordinating resources to address their needs. The role involves working closely with families and community partners to support the overall growth, development, and well-being of the youth.

Additionally, the Youth Advocate will actively participate in program planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure services are effective and comprehensive.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Trauma-Informed Care and Youth Development practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trusting relationships with youth and families
  • Background in Social Work and Case Management, with the ability to develop and implement tailored support plans
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent behavior, as well as strategies for promoting positive youth development
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including families, schools, and community organizations
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic, on-site environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations is a plus
