The Software Engineer V will be responsible for building custom software solutions of high quality while following the coding standards and technical design. This is a Software Engineer V role and the candidate must have at least 15 years of software development experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the material handling industry. The candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

• Designs and develops software applications
• Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process
• Typically reports to a manager
• May provide consultation on complex projects
• Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge
• Works autonomously
• May provide a leadership role for a work group through knowledge in the area of specialization
• Some travel is expected, up to 15%

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience designing and developing software applications
• Proficiency with C# and the Microsoft .NET Framework, and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Experience with troubleshooting/debugging software applications
• Experience with Windows Services, Microsoft Entity Framework, SQL, LINQ, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, development tools (Microsoft Visual Studio, TFS, Azure/Dev Ops, Git), and source control
• Experience with Web-based and Client/Server software development, SDLC methodology, and strong communication and collaboration skills
• Java experience including JavaScript technologies (JavaScript, Java Server/JSP frameworks, HTML/CSS, MVC/MVVM patterns) and related tooling
• Experience with Microsoft ASP.NET MVC Framework, Microsoft Entity Framework, Vue.js/Angular.js or other JavaScript reactive frameworks, and related technologies (HTML, CSS, AJAX, SQL, LINQ)
• Experience with .NET Core, WCF/Web API, and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
• Experience with development tools:
  Git, Azure/Dev Ops, Visual Studio, TFS, SQL Management Studio, Oracle SQL Developer, Visio, Office
