Responsible for maintenance of consumer records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA & confidentiality rules and regulations.

• Compiling and checking documents for accuracy.
• Transporting documents.
• Maintaining files.
• Answering inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
• Assisting the public and staff in filling out forms for records request.
• Filing and maintaining supplies, forms and records.
• Performing data entry and retrieval.
• Delivering, picking up, or receiving documents, supplies, mail, equipment, or materials.
• Checking for quantity and quality.
• Making arrangements for repairs and services.
• Performing related work as assigned.

• Good typing skills required.
• Good spelling skills required.
• Some experience in medical records.
• Bookkeeping skills preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Must have a Texas driver’s license.
• Must have a good driving record for the past 3 years.

• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, lift at least 25 lbs.
• Reach over head.
• Sit for an extended period of time.
