About the Role
Cleburne Ford is seeking an energetic and reliable Automotive Quick Lane Technician to join our fast-paced service team in Cleburne, TX.
In this role, you will handle express automotive maintenance services including routine oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and battery replacements. This is an ideal entry-level or mid-level opportunity for someone who wants to sharpen their automotive skills, earn competitive pay, and build a long-term career in a high-volume Ford dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities- Express Services: Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-offs, tire rotations, and wheel balances.
- Vehicle Inspections: Conduct multi-point vehicle safety inspections, checking tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and steering components.
- Maintenance Recommendations: Identify worn components and communicate maintenance needs clearly to Quick Lane advisors to help educate customers.
- Tire Service: Mount, balance, repair, and install new tires according to manufacturer safety standards.
- Shop Standards: Keep your assigned work bay, tools, and equipment clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Experience: 6+ months of express lube, tire center, or Quick Lane technician experience preferred, but entry-level applicants with mechanical aptitude and trade school training are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of automotive maintenance, hand tools, and shop equipment.
- Work Ethic: Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record (Required).
- Pre-Employment: Must be willing to undergo a standard background check and drug screening.
