Area Manager – Operations
Job : 3181222 – Services LLC. Our WW Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals to lead a team of hourly workforce and maintain high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance, while ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to the right location.
Key Responsibilities- Support, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce.
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
- Collaborate with support teams such as Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 pounds, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, standing/walking for up to 12 hours, and operating in environments with variable temperature, noise, and requiring stair use.
- Work in dynamic operational settings such as first mile, middle mile, and last mile workflows.
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 1+ year(s) of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
- Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
- Experience with Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma process improvements.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field.
- Industry experience in retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production or distribution environments.
The base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 – $90,900.00 USD annually. Compensation also includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs) and additional benefits such as health, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance, EAP, mental health support, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
