Adjunct Instructor
Minimum Required
Education:
Associate's degree within the instructional area being taught or a combination of certifications, licenses, education and/or experience that yields the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Hold an active operator's license and have completed one of the following:
- 750 hours in methods of teaching the student
- 250 hours in methods of teaching the student, if the applicant can verify two years of operator experience in a licensed beauty salon or dual shop.
Minimum
Required Experience:
Three years experience in Cosmetology.
Preferred:
Teaching experience in a higher educational within the instructional area being taught.
Responsibility:
Adjunct Instructors are responsible for the planning of course materials, preparation of lectures, meeting all scheduled classes, clearly informing students of course requirements and fairly and impartially grading all students in accordance with the standards established by the institution.
Salary: $1,560 per three-hour course Benefits:
