Clinical Pharmacist Part Time

Work location:
  • 201 Walls Dr Cleburne, TX 76031
Work hours:
  • 20 hours; 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM rotating weekends (Must be available to work the 4th and 5th weekend rotation)

When on call, the pharmacist must be able to arrive on site and complete medication preparation and dispensing within 60 minutes.

Here’s What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy Required
  • Pharm D Required
  • CLIAFE must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.
  • PHAR
    - Pharmacist upon hire required.
  • 3 years of hospital experience or residency preferred.
  • Highly preferred PGY1 residency completion (or equivalence).
  • Experience working in an inpatient acute care or hospital pharmacy setting is highly preferred.
  • IV certification highly preferred.
  • Must be proficient in written and verbal English communication skills, computer proficient and possess basic math skills.
What You Will Do
  • Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.
  • Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
  • Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.
  • Ongoing professional development and growth.
  • Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
  • Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.
  • Other duties as assigned.
