PRN:
On an as needed basis - weekdays, and 1 weekend per month (minimum), prefer 2 weekends per month, flexible with hours usually between 8:30AM-5:00PM, schedule varies. Therapy Services:
Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne is a 137-bed, full-service hospital that has served Cleburne and the Johnson County area since 1986. Located about 35 miles south of Fort Worth, hospital services include surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics and ear, nose and throat care. The center has over 80 physicians on its medical staff and has been recognized as a Top Performer for Quality Care in a nationwide performance improvement project, an accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Chest Pain Centers and designated a Pathway to Excellence® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

This role involves working closely with patients to develop individualized care plans, implement therapeutic interventions, and guide them through their rehabilitation journey in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

Here's What You Need Bachelor's Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program Required PT
- Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required And BCLS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required. No experience necessary - willing to train (Prefer acute care level rotation experience) Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Problem-solving ability;
Ability to teach others. Time management skills;
Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills. Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care. Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment. Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self-management and assistive equipment. Documents all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.

Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and departmental personnel Focus on Daily Living Skills, Mobility and Cognition of patients.
