Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our bulk material handling conveyor business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technical products, works with urgency, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll manage inbound customer requests, build accurate quotes, process orders, and support customers from inquiry through delivery—with opportunities to grow into more full-cycle selling responsibilities over time.

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries (phone/email) for conveyor systems, components, and replacement parts
• Gather application details (material type, capacity, layout, environment, etc.) to define scope and recommend solutions
• Prepare accurate, timely quotations and proposal packages
• Interpret customer drawings/specs and support component selection and sizing (training provided)
• Convert quotes into orders and ensure accurate documentation of requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, production, purchasing, and shipping to confirm lead times and keep projects moving
• Proactively communicate order status updates and resolve customer questions
• Follow up on open quotes to increase win rates
• Support customer visits, job walks, and occasional trade events as needed

• 1–5 years of experience in inside sales, customer support, or technical sales in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

• Experience with bulk material handling equipment or conveyor systems
• Familiarity with conveyor components (belt, screw, drag/chain, pulleys, idlers, bearings, drives, etc.)
• Exposure to OEM or build-to-order manufacturing environments
