Orthman Conveying Systems (OCS) is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes while producing components to engineering specifications.
** What You'll Do
*** Set up, operate, and monitor CNC mills and lathes
* Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
* Select tooling and adjust machine controls and offsets
* Maintain required dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes
* Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments
* Complete production documentation and report deviations or nonconforming parts
* Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean
* Communicate production status and equipment issues to supervisors, engineers, and team members
* Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
** What You'll Bring
*** High school diploma or GED
* At least 2 years of CNC machining experience operating both mills and lathes
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Knowledge of G-code, tooling, speeds, and feeds
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work independently and contribute as part of a team
* Vocational or technical training is preferred

Physical Requirements
** This position works in a manufacturing environment with loud noise and non-climate-controlled conditions. Candidates must be able to:
* Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
* Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
* Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots
