Pay Range

$93,900.00–$ annual (base salary; varies by experience, skills, and education). Eligible for an incentive bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Manage phone triage following injuries.
  • Case‑manage work‑related injuries, including escorting employees to medical appointments, following up with employees, communicating with safety representatives, and maintaining documentation.
  • Provide nurse case management for ADA and FMLA compliance.
  • Partner with EHS teams to keep incident reports updated in JM’s Incident Management system.
  • Ensure all work‑related injuries are reported timely to JM’s workers’ compensation administrator.
  • Support post‑offer, pre‑employment medical programs in the region.
  • Conduct occupational health audits of facilities as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement in recordkeeping, monitoring, and auditing to ensure compliance with JM policies, programs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement plant‑based wellness activities.
  • Oversee OSHA compliance for occupational health programs such as hearing conservation and respiratory protection.
  • Assist plants with emergency response training, including CPR, first aid, and AED.
  • Monitor substance‑abuse procedures, administer drug testing, and work with HR on employee treatment.
  • Partner with plant teams and third‑party consultants to improve health and safety.
  • Provide training and medical advice to JM teams.
  • Develop positive employee engagement through lunch‑and‑learns, health fairs, and wellness initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Multi‑state nursing license covering all states in the region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minimum of 8 years of occupational nursing experience.
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of workers’ compensation and OSHA regulations.
  • Solid interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%.
