Aboutthe Role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Avir at Cleburne, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Your duties will include:
- Assisting with daily living activities
, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Participating in care planning and implementing individualized patient care plans
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Deliver high-quality patient care that is patient-centered and compassionate
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and services
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, 401K, Critical Illness and more.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment (up to 50 pounds)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
