Drive Growth Orthman Conveying Systems (OCS) is a leading manufacturer of bulk material handling equipment, providing engineered solutions to customers across North America. From screw conveyors and bucket elevators to belt conveyors and custom material handling systems, we help our customers move materials efficiently, safely, and reliably.

We're looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and creating new business opportunities. If you're a self-motivated sales professional with a technical mindset and a passion for helping industrial customers succeed, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll DoAs an Outside Sales Representative, you will:

Develop new business opportunities throughout your assigned territory.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, distributors, and end users.

Promote Orthman's complete line of bulk material handling equipment.

Meet with customers to understand their applications and recommended technical solutions.

Partner with Engineering, Inside Sales, and Production to develop accurate quotations, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Manage your sales pipeline and maintain CRM records.

Travel to visit customers, attend trade shows, and represent OCS.Industries You'll Serve

You'll work with customers in industries that will include:

Agriculture Aggregate Mining Wastewater Rendering Industrial  Processing Dust Collection Manufacturing What  We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3-5 years of outside sales experience in industrial equipment, bulk material handling, agriculture, or manufacturing.

Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.

Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP software.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel approximately 50-75% of the time.

Work Environment This position requires frequent travel to customer locations, manufacturing facilities, trade shows, and industrial job sites. Candidates must be comfortable working in industrial environments and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) when visiting customer facilities.
