We're looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative who enjoys building relationships, solving customer challenges, and creating new business opportunities. If you're a self-motivated sales professional with a technical mindset and a passion for helping industrial customers succeed, we'd like to meet you.
** What You'll Do
** As an Outside Sales Representative, you will:
* Develop new business opportunities throughout your assigned territory.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, distributors, and end users.
* Promote Orthman's complete line of bulk material handling equipment.
* Meet with customers to understand their applications and recommended technical solutions.
* Partner with Engineering, Inside Sales, and Production to develop accurate quotations, and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Manage your sales pipeline and maintain CRM records.
* Travel to visit customers, attend trade shows, and represent OCS.

* * What We're Looking For
** Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* 3-5 years of outside sales experience in industrial equipment, bulk material handling, agriculture, or manufacturing.
* Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP software.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel approximately 50-75% of the time.
