Equipment Operator II; Precinct

• Location 4300 East FM 4, Cleburne, TX, 76031, United States
• Base Pay $47,000.00 - $51,000.00 / Year

Operates heavy equipment to build, maintain and repair roads, culverts, bridges and signs.

• Build and maintain roads, which includes operating heavy equipment, mowing bar ditches, performing crack and chip seal, mixing asphalt, setting rebar, graveling, paving and patching.
• Load, transport and unload heavy equipment and bridge beams at job sites.
• Perform sign maintenance, repair, replacement and installation; and perform daily inspections of residential and county roads.
• Adjust inventory for signs, posts, bases and hardware used in the installation of new signs or repair and replacement of existing signs; create purchase orders for replacement of signs; and maintain computer updates on status of sign repair.
• Check and fuel vehicles; and perform occasional maintenance duties.
• Perform other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
• Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, OSHA standards, and wear personal protective gear if required.
• Communicate in a professional manner with residents and general public.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent, with 1 to 3 years related experience. Combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions listed above can be substituted.
