  • Duration: 13 weeks with ongoing coverage needs
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,280 - $3,890
  • Patient Volume:
    Approximately 1-15 patient encounters per shift
  • Credentialing Timeframe:
    Approximately 90 days
  • Certification

    Required:

    BLS
Urology Nurse Practitioner Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of urology experience preferred
  • Advanced Practice certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of advanced practice experience required if not otherwise specified
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and interdepartmental peers
  • Experience with urologic consultations in partnership with a locum tenens or staff urologist
  • Comfortable with call coverage and rounding at acute care facilities
  • BLS certification required
Responsibilities
  • Provide urology-focused patient care across acute care and clinical settings
  • Perform urologic consultations and support ongoing patient management
  • Participate in call coverage and rounding at affiliated facilities
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members
  • Deliver efficient, high-quality care to a diverse patient population
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support continuity of care
