Assistant Beef Shoppe Manager

As an Assistant Beef Shoppe Manager at Lowes Foods, you'll support daily operations of the fresh meat department to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities include assisting with meat cutting and trimming, ensuring proper rotation, labeling, and food safety standards, and maintaining attractive, fully stocked cases. You will support ordering and inventory control, help manage shrink, and uphold sanitation and equipment cleanliness.

Partner with the Beef Shoppe Manager to train and coach hosts, model friendly, guest-obsessed service, and help drive sales and promotions in a fun, community-focused store environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily Beef Shoppe operations, ensuring cases are full, fresh, and appealingly merchandised
• Assist with basic meat cutting, trimming, wrapping, and proper product rotation and labeling
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, temperature control, and sanitation standards
• Help manage ordering, inventory levels, and shrink control to meet sales and margin goals
• Provide friendly, guest-obsessed service, engaging guests and answering product questions
• Support training, coaching, and scheduling of department hosts with the department manager
• Maintain clean, safe work areas, equipment, and tools in compliance with company policies
• Execute promotions, signage, and special displays to drive sales and highlight local products
• Monitor product quality and pull unsellable items in line with safety and freshness guidelines
• Collaborate with store leadership to support overall store standards and team culture
