Job Details

SWDS Drivers deliver products to customers from Sherwin‑Williams stores using company vans or pickup trucks. Responsibilities include ensuring deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer, maintaining customer satisfaction, and transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

The role is located at Store #2313, 2662 Lewisville‑Clemmons Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012. This part‑time position allows up to 28 hours per week with a starting pay rate of $15.00 per hour.

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements efficiently.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Complete appropriate forms and reports relating to deliveries.
• Transport and deliver items to customers safely and on time.
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair/servicing needs.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Operate equipment and machines such as trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Perform additional store tasks including warehouse duties, tinting, mixing customer orders, and waiting on customers.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Ability to retrieve material from shelves/floor stacks, lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• At least 1 year of experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.).
• Previous work experience selling paint or paint‑related products.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
• Proficiency in Spanish.

Background check is required due to contact with customers and handling cash and valuable items.
