The Company
This is a growing, multi-site manufacturing company that has expanded through acquisition, adding a second production site that is scaling from one production line to several as volume increases. The organization is centralizing accounting functions to support that growth and reports up through a parent organization overseas, giving the accounting team exposure to both US GAAP and international reporting standards. This is an in-office role based in Easley, South Carolina, Monday through Friday.
SummaryThe Controller will own day to day accounting for this location, managing two direct reports across accounts payable and accounts receivable while ensuring the books close accurately and on time each month. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the CFO, with responsibility for standard costing, absorption accounting, and the intercompany transactions that connect this site to a growing second location.
The role also supports reporting into the parent organization, translating day to day activity into the information leadership needs.
